Anyone had any luck off the piers lately?

Hi,new to the site just 5mins ago Well spent from 2am to 6am at port melb pier under the bolte this morning and nothing, not even a bite, was using , prawn, pilli, raw chicken beast and nothing, just inquizitive water rats and crabs.
The water was so dirty and there was a oil slick across the water. Thats is the last time im fishing there.

welcome bud! yeah i too the same fishing close by in the bay not had anything decent not even a bite!

Tried St kilda pier Monday morning and got bugger all. There was a bloke there with his teenage son who fished all Sunday night through til mid morning for one underside pinky. No one else caught anything at all. I caught something that had similar colours to a toady but it had a dorsal fin. Not sure what it was.
