Top of the Bay , No Snapper Yet.

Went out on Sunday in my Tinny , fished several hours between Brighton & St Kilda not a reel turned . i headed back of Williamstown area's in 9m of water & fished no good , fished out of Port Melbourne into night with out any results to show :down:
Back @ the ramp no else i spoke with had caught any Snapper also , maybe next time :)

Agree , i actually know they are about . they just aint feeding with any aggression , maybe in the next 2 to 3 wks .

actually they fired on sunday....
6.5 and 8kg where weighed in at altona club house. and I know off heaps that caught 4kg round p3....
further south around moringtion they been getting on them with afew (alot) off boats bagging on sunday...
Due to barometer going sky high on Sunday they went ape ....

M8 dont be hard on yourself, this time off year is hit and miss and everything has to be spot on from temps, tides, fresh baits, location etc etc....

I went out friday and saturday....
nothing to write home about...lol
though sunday went off....One two days too early for me too....

cheaters on the board - first new season red was in WP though
they are biting very picky , thought they were rock cod till I landed this one 72 cm
