Yes that was a Gurnard, the blokes on the pier helped with that one. They are poisonous and cause tachycardia which could lead to a myocardial infarction.
Tate (my son) got two decent flat heads. Cooking these up tonight.
We went to Kryal castle today....my kids kept saying "we shoulda gone fishing"!

Far cheaper and not a waste of time! On the way home we were arguing over who's idea it was! Even the torture chamber was crap!

Enjoy it whilst you can, my daughter when she was little enjoyed fishing, now as a teenager it is a different story.
