Frankston 7/1 and flinders 8/1

Post by Adamgraham » Wed Jan 08, 2014 5:54 pm

Hey went of the pier at frankston last night from 6pm to around 10. Only caught 1 undersized pinkie, lots of people were catching salmon off lures and there was plenty of garfish swimming around the lights. Stopped fishing because a big stingray took my bait a few times, annoying as.

Also went to flinders pier today at 11am to 4pm was nice weather at the start and few people catching whiting, I think my hooks must have been to big because I kept getting bites and couldn't hook up. The wind started picking up at around 2 and it got hard to tell if I had bites or not . Decided to leave at 4 after still not catching anything.... Maybe next time

Welcome to the site. Good work on the report, keep at it. My preference is bait but I always keep a lure and a float handy, just incase!
