Spent a couple of hours 11pm-1am under the lights at Tim Neville. Saw a couple of surface feeders but spooked them right at the start. Got one very strong hit but didn't hook up.

6lb gear, running sinker, tiny circle hook and maple syrup soaked corn for bait.

Was going to pull an all nighter then the rain hit, don't want it that badly.

it's 10 mins from my house mate :D I had no idea there were fish in there until late last year when the guys had a carp cull. I remember running around that place as a drunk teenager.

Oh yeah if you do go at night, watch out for drunk teenagers acting like dicks.

Spear fishing is probably your only option in this heat

Turn it up fellas. I've been getting heated off work at 35 every day this week and then fishing for 2-3 hours. It's not that bad if you don't think about it and concentrate on the fishing. Haha.

Angling is the name given to fishing by people that can't fish
