Re: TO HOT TO FISH!
Im with ducky, if I wasnt working I would have been out there most days!!
There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the bank like an idiot, I excel in the latter!!!

Re: TO HOT TO FISH!
Got a bit more of a thong tan today. Have borrowed a yak and will try my luck on the flatties/snaps tomorrow in the 44 degree heat. Lol. Might chuck some sunscreen on though. The back of my neck is feeling the last few days.
Re: TO HOT TO FISH!
IMO some ppl need to harden the fk up . I was beaching on monday, fishing on tues arvo and got a decent flatty to add to the comp(when i register), a small bream and dropped another nice flatty at my feet :doh1: . Yesterday arvo was beaching aswell! Today spent all day at the aus open! The heat kept a lot of punters away  At least we had room to walk around  Im blacker than a biafran from being out so much, but at least Ive had fun :sun:
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..

Make sure you got lots of cold water to drink. Very easy to dehydrate.
Useless info: Blokes are 3 times more likely to die from Dehydration than women
Some of us gotta work in this Niiece weather
I hope to get out Saturday :reel:
Cheers

Donutted at Dandy creek then again at Tim Neville on the carp tonight.
Tim Neville Arboretum is by far the most frustrating place i've ever fished, you can see the things swimming around and no matter what i do they wont' eat my bait.

Re: TO HOT TO FISH!
yeah, no luck. Dropped 3 bits of corn right in front of one that was surface feeding, it kinda just looked at me like i was an idiot and swam off.

Re: TO HOT TO FISH!
Bread dougie, tear bread into pieces and throw it into the area. Wait for the carp to come. Put a small piece of bread unweighted on the hook. Dip it in the water for cast weight
When you see them sight cast to them. Hold on.
