Webb Dock Info

Post by azkay » Fri Jan 31, 2014 9:20 am

Hi Team,

Never been down to Webb dock, even though I'm pretty local to it. Thinking of giving it a go. Does anyone have any advice on where to park the car? I'm not even sure I know exactly where the rock platform is..

I also remember hearing its a fair walk, in regards to setting up shop: just judge and cast? or any recommendation in this regard.

Meanwhile I'll also continue my research through 'Google' and the search function..

Either way will report back after the weekend :)
Az.

Park at the Surf Life Saving club just off Todd Rd - Green Circle.

You walk (vigilantly) through the park along the path and down to the end of the structure.

I've found the first corner - Blue Circle - to be productive, but anywhere off the end can produce good fish.

Seems to be they come in early in the season (Sept, Oct) rather than now - It's been quiet of late, but you never know when a lone Snapper might cruise by!

Good luck - look forward to your reports!

be wary of the guys on bikes wearing tight pants/shorts specially those who seemed to be looking for someone behind the bushes.

I fished from the rocks between the first and second little piers.
Caught many over sized breams there on Bass yabbies & in rare occasion on pilchard.

If u want Pinkies/snapper. Better chance is to go all the way to the bend. Tho I've caught them between those piers aswell.

OH.. also caught a Seagal while in the air.....stupid bird went for my bait.....
GOODLUCK!!!!!

I was there a few weeks ago and saw some odd looking fella behind the bushes. Thought he was emptying the tank but he was just standing there being awkward. What's the story behind these guys.
