mulloway fishing and bait

This tuesday night, i want to hit a trip somewhere all night at docklands area.

How would people suggest to catch livebait like mullet. I have never targeted them since i was a kid, so i havnt really got a clue? is float better or bottom rig ,areas for mullet?

Hey mate you can buy a sabiki rig or use a paternoster/running sinker rig with a light sinker and a very small hook such as a size 12. Chicken breast or small pieces of pilchard/pipi should work.

Chicken apparently works on mulloway too, IF that's what it was on the Patterson River that I hooked into and got busted up by
