If your new to squid fishing, blairgowrie is the ideal place to learn the ropes. Sure they arent huge at BG compared to sorrento and the sea of ports but they are in greater numbers at BG and the tide runs less than the other piers close by which will make squid fishing that bit easier. I took the yak out on tuesday arvo between BG and sorrento and got 5 nice squid and dropped a good salmon(on a 30gm size 3.5 jig).

goodluck
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..
