Took my 5 year old to station pier this morning and he landed his first fish. 32cm pinkie. What a moment , one hell of a proud dad. Then landed 5 more, but undersized. But who cares, his smile I will never forget. I thank all on this site for sharing tips and advice.... We used baby squid, it was the only bait that was effective. Thanks again all... I would post a pic but unsure how.... Woooohoooo...

That's fantastic, and a great first fish for him!! I think there will be more fishing trips coming up.
