After launching, me and my dad went to our olivers hill spot and straight away first cast with a squid jig my dad gets a squid and about 15 more follow it up and stay around the boat, After casting into them for a while and only getting checked out we started changing jigs around and after a while we found the right one, squid after squid after squid, after getting about 10 of them we set up a bait rod and were getting plagued with undersized pinkys when i hooked a nice flathead, then after that we decided to move to another spot.
dropped a jig in next to the boat while re rigging my bait rod and bam squid, after squid after squid, We caught so many that we where letting majority go, they were going nuts and then they died off and in the middle of catching those squid i had tied my bait rig on my other rod and casted that out catching a few more undersized pinkys.
After another move and out final move, we anchored up and used bait most of the time, after fighting through the pinkys we got a red mullet, 3 pike/snook 1 whiting and 1 parrotfish i think.
Not all in perfect order and i don't quite remember were i caught the other rem mullet but was an ace day.
Couldnt ask for a better way to spend the day than out on the glass calm water fishing with my dad.
