excel spreadsheet in a post?
Anyway we can make an excel style spreadsheet that can be edited in a standard post? Would be great to have for the species comp.

I would say if you keep updating the original doc every time someone opens it it will reflect any changes you make to it ? ...

Yeah I realise it will work and update. I would love to be able to embed it in the 2nd post so its easy to see where everyone is at.

Seeing you are the original author you will need to make any changes, unless you are able to modify the sharing parameters so anyone can make changes.
Unless you want it to be view only for public ? may be better if you are contacted via PM for any catches to be listed ?

I'll see if fishing vic knows of any mechanism to embed it. Guessing it will be dependent on what the forum software supports.

i can edit it, everyone else can only view it.
I made all the changes in the previous comp. I needed reminding every now and then. However I dont want it to become open slather editting. I'll keep that responsibility
