Fishing Victoria Forum

Is there some way to fix the search function on fishing vic? I vaguely remember something about losing indexes in a forum outage or something. Can these be "re-indexed"?

there's a heap of older information that the newer members don't seem to be finding, hence some of the repeated questions we get. I know that it's possible to find information using the "site:http://www.fishing-victoria.com *query*" thing on google but this doesn't allow for choosing specific subforums or authors.
