Nah, i will not transfer files to my pc to resize it under 1mb. I dont resize my photos on my phone.

still having issues uploading pics !!!

ive resized to the sizes i genrally post and its not working
anyone else having issues?

Steve are your images resized to below 1mb your PC/Phone before you upload?

I used the lower than normal quality when resizing. but they are still over 1mb i just looked at them.
ill have to find another easier way to post pics.

I just use a simple program like Microsoft Paint. Just click on Resize -> Pixels -> 1000 px wide -> File - Save As

This always reduces file sizes substantially for me.

Cant do that on the phone though.. most of my pics like everyone else on here are on the phone. i will have to do it in the editor which means too many same photos in the phone hahaha

well that sorta defeats the purpose of your new phones ability to take decent pics now mate. but that certainly will work.
im not going to reduce the resolution on my phone camera, my pics will just be less frequent!a nd i think it will be the case with a lot more members not just me.
with the phones these days taking extremely high resolution pics it was just a matter of time before this happened...

Definitely not asking or recommending anyone to change the resolution of their phone's camera! That's entirely your decision...

The point is the forum simply cannot afford to host the thousands and thousands of large images that have accumulated over time.

It's just a requirement now that images posted on the site are under 1mb in size.

An option is to just upload them to your Facebook account. Facebook automatically resizes your images. Then just copy them and repost here.

There are plenty of image resizing options out there.

yep i was just agreeing to what you said..
i will try the facebook approach and see if that works
