The next opportunity might be to have a comp for forum members to design a bumper sticker..

Then have members vote on the winner and produce stickers and sell them.. provided the cost of creating them out-ways the cost of selling them ??

I may need to pay a designer to redesign the logo before we go ahead with producing stickers, etc

Unless of course everyone is happy with the existing logo which I designed myself with limited graphic design knowledge!

Personally I would be happy to pay for a new fresh professional logo design.

I already received a quote from Marine Graphics Inc marinegraphicsink.com.au at $800 to $1000 + gst, depending on the amount of custom illustration work involved.

I couldn't justify that expense myself, however with the VIP donations it may be an option in the near future.

Would it possible for you to show me the concepts of what do you want to have? Did you show them concepts as you mentioned illustrations?

Just an easily recognisable logo that renders on the web, with the intention of producing some stickers and merchandise in the future.

I think the font would have to be unique, and perhaps we could add a character that represents fishing in general.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to say similar , but the 'F'being a bent over rod (the reel completing the F) , the 'I' as a long thin lure attatched to the line hanging above the water just (hooked to a fish)....Whatever with the rest. And mabe the 'Fishing' logo/writing on a map of Australia, written on the victoria part, the vic state high-lighted etc etc ? . Just anoither suggestion , cheers , Rick
