If you have read my other posts you know we have been at stoney point caravan park since tuesday the annual trip. Most of the guys had to leave today but a few diehards went fishing again after cleaning the cabin we launched about 930 and headed to rhyll same as yesterday.
Within half an hour the first snapper 60 cm there was lots of pickers and eagle rays must have caught 6 plus banjos and whittley skates then two more a 69cm and a 59cm all fish took couta luckily we caught a few and put them to good use. My mate in the other boat caught 5 including a ripper of 80cm.
There were heaps of boats out today silverleaves, rhyll and the corals all boats were catching spoke to some locals who bagged out before 7am the pick of the times early and the run in tide back at the ramp carnage too many boats not enough space and a queue to clean your fish we made use of this time cooking lunch.
All in all a great 3 days with mates no alcohol for a week now to give the liver a rest.
