Cannons Creek/Warneet

Post by ChrisD » Wed Dec 31, 2014 3:47 pm

Looks like I might be in the Cannons Creek/Warneet area in the next week or so - figure while I am there I better take the rods and see what is down there.
Being unfamiliar with the area...and not looking for anyone's specific spots...does anyone have any tips for that area?

If you are lucky there may be squid, bream, flathead around but you will mostly find toadies and mullet.

Potential of jewies and ep's in that area. However more likely to get mullet and juvy salmon.

almost Texas..lol... it was a multi coloured one like beach umbrealla and about half its size.. and I have gotten a lot of use from it fishing... might look weird, with the handle stuck down the inside of a jacket and zipped up.. but it leaves two hands for fishing..lol
