Of all the not so usual things, this I believe is mistaken identity. Plenty of XL slimey mackerel come off that pier this time of year

As cobby said, you can catch plenty of big slimy mackerel wich make great game fishing bait from there but Spanish mackerel you can't catch in vic:)

The GT's are off the drop at Sandy Point. Then there's jacks up the top end.
