Sunday special off Rhyll

Post by phil1818 » Sun Apr 22, 2018 5:29 pm

Hi Guys,

Headed out this morning from Hastings for a bit of a session over the change of tides, I headed up towards Corinella to a favorite spot for jack diddley! The tide was ripping through and my anchor kept letting go plus an absolute **** ton of weed washing through didnt help. I headed down closer to Rhyll where the tide was a bit slower and burleyed up like a mad man and bingo! the rods stated going off and managed to land a nice 3kg odd snapper followed by another a little smaller.

I then decided to send up the drone for a look about and as luck would have it soon as i got the bloody thing in the air the rod went again to produce a nice elephant. dropped a few big runs for the day but all in all was stoked to get my first snapper and a good feed.

Yeah, love to see the pics! Great day! I got a few fish today myself, 46cm whiting, 115cm gummy. Sounds like it was a good day to be out on the bay
