sea snake? rye pier
sea snake? rye pier
saw a eel/snake looking thing swimming on the surface this evening right before a kid jumped off the pier!
it was around 1m long and had 2 fins up towards the head
grey colour
any ideas what it was?

Yep, one of those I'd say...
At least it wasn't a tiger snake on a freshwater lake that some eagle decided was too difficult to eat, therefore dropped it right next to your boat for you to **** bricks about...yep, gotta love this beautiful place...lol.
