juvenile salmon or tommy rough?
I have been catching & releasing these little buggers for years as I always assumed ( absolutely sure) that they are juvenile salmons. Yet other anglers believe that they are tommy rough and keep them. Take a look at the pic & tell me what fish it is.
Thanks.
Thanks.

A Tommy Rough has more prominent black tips on its tail from memory.

That is a juvenile salmon, tommies have a large eye and black tips on the tail.
