The dorsal fin has flattened which is usually a good indicator of a dead or nearly dead fish.

If you squint you can see it still has a pulse

Fish was well alive just caught and quick snap with phone but was dark and photpgrapher not that good.

Was kept as not in the noxious list and thought had caught before. Was impossible to find on fisheries site.

Thanks for the help.

For the doubters just taking a few fish that we could get. Many just sized flatheads returned safely.
