Its a juv salmon. Heaps around estuaries atm.

Yes your correct 'Rogue' its a hard one alright , i had to look through & research all the marine fish species list . After several hours of research , i reackon its a Bay Trout "Smal Salmon" . :icon_lolz:

Juvie salmon are like that. The colors fade a bit as they grow and the back tends to be darker. Some surf residents even the big ones can be light colored, almost silver.
