It didnt have the rough scales tho. Is that because its just a juvenile?

The scales are rough when you slide your fingers from tail to head. The black tips on the tail are a dead give away aswel as the stripes. Baby salmon have spots.

lucky no damage done but the amount of cuts and scrapes from work on my hands it would be hard to tell if anything new was there haha
