Combining cooking experience and fishing career, sounds pretty good
All I need now is to learn writing, editing, finding time, finding auditor, finding graphic designer, and publisher, and...
Okay nevermind, i think I'll stick to recreational fishing and cooking

Here's another one, semolina crumbed salt pepper calamari, rocket salad and homemade tartare.

Semolina gives more crisp and less oily than the traditional beer batter, easier and quicker to prep too. Just roll the cut squid pieces in a bowl of semolina crumbs and fry.

The bitterness of rocket , sweetness & sourness from the cherry tomatoes and tangy lemon dressing give the balance in the mouth after fatty crunchy calamari + tartare.

Goes well with first pressed beer

Toss the fried calamari in salt and pepper, a slight dust of szechuan pepper or cayenne pepper or smoked paprika can make a big difference too!
Lemon dressing is just extra virgin olive oil and some lemon juice, add a bit of sugar if the lemon is too sour for your taste.

Saw a post the other day saying squid is currently abundant in PPB. Very sustainable food source as they breed and grow pretty quick, good bait and good to eat! :water:
Saturday weather looks great, I think I might go out on my to fisherman's beach Sat afternoon. :water:

Happy Friday y'all
