Fish and chips

Post by Aaronvgp » Wed Aug 05, 2015 4:29 pm

The fish and chip shop I frequent has dory packs for $5 which is unbelievable value because the dory is awesome. BUT! The best fish I ever had with fish and chips was bronze whaler in WA. Is there anywhere in Melbourne where I can get bronze whaler? I've never, ever seen it offered in a fish and chip store except that one in WA.

Pretty sure they sold as flake though most flakes are gummies

The shop in wa had both options and it was very different to any flake I've had.

You can catch your own bronze whalers off the pier at Rye :water:

Some guys landed a 10 foot bronzie off Balcombe beach last year. Yes, really.

I really need to start dropping a whole sambo or yakka down under a float when I'm out chasing other things in the boat I reckon just on the off chance something's cruising by

Favourite fish and chip shop by far in Melbourne would have to be Hunky Dory in St.Kilda.
