The good guys mate and yes you buy the rolls separately. Can cut them to whatever size you want.

Also forgot to mention I found the same bags at Costco but they were $10 cheaper for the 2 rolls.

There was some tests done a couple of years or so ago, that vacuum packing your fish and leaving it in the fridge, was not the best practice and shouldn't be done to extend a use by date, a mate pointed it out, of course I didn't believe him, but he was right !
If you vacuum pack it, freeze It ! Don't leave it in the fridge vacuumed, the bacteria build up unbelievably was a lot greater than leaving it in the fridge un- vacuum packed. I'll try and find the info on it but it was a while back.
I'll leave fish in the fridge, gutted and filleted, with skin on for a max of a couple of days, otherwise its given away or as a last resort vacuumed and frozen. when I got my Vacuum pack I was using it for basically everything, until I was shown that its not good to preserve fish under fridge temps vacuum sealed.
100% agree with you, just want to make the point that the vaccum for freezer stop or help a lot against Freezer burn

I got mine from aldi, best thing I ever bought. Especially for keeping bait fresh.
Keep an eye on the Aldi sales, the bags are super cheap but you've got to get in quick, when they have a sale, I recon theres 90 % fisho's there grabbing the good price. I usually buy in bulk which lasts me til the next sale. As far as the quality of there vacuum machines go, well about 4 or 5 guys including the one that worded me up about Aldi's bought them, and its been 4 odd years now and its still going great....

Have heard good things about the Aldi one and at $79 it's far more affordable than the sunbeam.
