Hi all

Was chasing gummies last night at Balnarring and ended up hooking a ling. Any recipes out there besides the fried battered fillets?

I shallow fried it up with Panko crumbs and take the skin off. Reckon they taste close to whiting. Very yum

Thanks guys. Ended up shallow frying the fillets. Definitely up there with flathead and KGW. Question now how to target them? Read that they mostly feed at night and are usually a by catch while chasing gummies and snapper

Caught 8 the other day in wpb in half an hour without even trying. Funny thing is, I would have thrown them back if it weren't for my cousin lol

Definitely good to eat
