I hate Carp and I hate Curry,
I would have thought if the US has Carp that they would have the problems we have and not release them back
Good vid

Completely agree. I know a few blokes that make patties out of them and the amount of other stuff that goes in you wouldn't know what you were eating! Worth the effort? probably not :down:Fishbref wrote:That curry would make cardboard taste good...

I think there carcasses used as a fertilizer is the only way they should be re-entering the food chain after death or as cod food

I have tried two many years ago...both came from the maribyrnong river with one being small and clean its was prepped on the spot and cooked over a fire with oil and lemon and despite the bones wasnt too bad. The second was a large specimen which I gave to a friend who smoked it...lets just say I couldnt spit the sh!t out of my mouth quick enoughyepi'mon wrote:Has anyone here actually caught, cooked and tried one?

I haven't eaten many fresh water fish, only cod once and trout a few times, the trout wins out over cod IMO, I'm willing to try carp as long it was prepared and cooked by someone who knows what their doing in regards to spices.

I can't even begin to imagine what they would taste like and I'm not too keen to find out either.
Still think they would be better than parrot fish though lel
