princetown and surrounding area

Post by Nude up » Thu Nov 27, 2014 6:56 pm

Just got back from 4 days camping at princetown near the twelve apostles. About 13 guys off my shift at work went was a cross between fishing and a male bonding trip.
The beach at princetown which is at the mouth of the gellibrand river is quite shallow 2 hours either side of high tide was the best we caught a few salmon. The next day we fished a beach about 5 klm west down a 4wd track then down a goat track to the beach a magnificent sight the apostles in the distance again caught salmon and wrasse.
We had such a good time we are going back next year I want to give the gellibrand river looks very good I took my kayak but never got it wet.
