They were already bloated when i landed them.JS270 wrote:Don't drag them along on a rope behind you when walking/wading
I have dragged hundreds of sambo off the sand and never seen anything like this.
I will start collecting the sand....free material for the next plastering job.

They were probably brain washed by vegans and greenies. Don't eat meat, fish, etc. With nothing else on the menu, they ate what is abundant in the surf beach. :rofl:4liters wrote:Maybe they swallow a bunch of sand while picking off little sand fleas stirred up by the waves

With the heavy sand dragging them under, soon they will need life jackets to survive.rb85 wrote:They didn’t look anemic enough to be brainwashedFish-cador wrote:They were probably brain washed by vegans and greenies. Re: Gunners version of vegan 8 Sept
I think the sambos are going nuts.
Went to portsea yesterday afternoon high tide. Managed 11 salmon in 2 hours with 1 monster in the mix. I gave away the big one and took home the rest for bait.
Here comes the fillet knife.... Surprised to see all of them filled with sand again. What is going on? The fish were all skinny and in obvious need of some protein in their diet.
