See how you go for a while with the new mobile responsive layout and report back here after a week or so.

fishingvic wrote:The reason I am asking for Tapatalk feedback is that we only have about 35 Average Daily Active Members on Tapatalk.

- Tapatalk has limited support and the regular updates are a time consuming pain to install.
- Tapatalk doesn't support Google Adsense, which in turn doesn't help support the Forum at all.

The recent site software upgrade makes using the forum on a mobile device much more user friendly.
The site is now fully responsive on all mobile devices. The decision has been made to remove the forum from the Tapatalk App.

Tapatalk provides little support for their software and the constant updates are very time consuming to install.

If you currently use Tapatalk, I highly recommend trying the New Forum software on your browser without Tapatalk.

I will be implementing these changes around midnight tonight.
From the previous page! :)

Tapatalk has been removed due to ongoing issues.

We are staying with traditional web browsers, hence the recent forum software upgrades.

I am finding that the search function is not working very well.

For example the other day I typed (beno ) in and it only found 3 instances, where his name appears. Even typing in Balnarring his guide did not show up.

I accidently cleared the search cache about 6 months ago.

Google brings up the result if you know what you're looking for:

Google can be used to search a particular site for results using the 'site:' function.

For example: site:www.fishing-victoria.com beno

It's really useful for searching through other forums for info too.

Any chance of increasing session limits now that tapatalk is no longer supported?
