I encourage everyone to sign the petition by Sally van hees to exempt angling clubs and fishing competitions from the proposed changes. You may not be a member of an fishing club but it will prohibited any fishing competition. A link to the petition can be found at fishing with Ferg Facebook page

all good.
i cant sign the bloody thing. the wesite keeps giving me a submission error every time even though i have checked all boxes and filled in all details.

website may have shutdown over the weekend also may have been attacked by the greens and AJP

I strongly suggest that not only clubs but individuals swamp their local MPs of whatever party to say that if they want continued support they need to vote to amend the draft legislations.

This is phase 1 to ban fishing completely if this gets through
