Hi Neil, still very new to fishing so haven't experienced much variety. My focus has been salt water with bait, not sure I have much interest in fresh and haven't been taught about jigs or lures yet.

Fishing from a boat would definitely be great. First time I went out was on a boat and was spoilt bagging out, haven't had a session like that since as its' purely been Pier based
