Looking to learn!

Post by Dr.Shinasi » Thu Jun 19, 2014 8:06 pm

Hi guys,
I'm pretty new to fishing as a whole...I've been trying to learn the basics from reading/watching what I can on the internet and try my best to implement it when I get a chance to head out. I haven't been as successful as I'd like and I'm at the point where I think the best way to learn, would be to get some first hand experience from guys that have been doing it a lot longer than I have, and are a lot more confident in what they are doing.
So basically, I'm just keen to learn and get out fishing as much as I can. I'm based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne (Werribee, point cook, altona, Williamstown etc).
If anyone goes fishing around there or is based in the same area and would be willing to maybe let me tag along and learn the ropes a little, I would be super appreciative!
I'm not even 100% on how to utilise this forum properly, but I'm hoping that this is a good chance for me to learn a bit more.
Cheers guys!

Welcome to the site Dr. You shouldn't have a problem tagging along with forum members to learn the ropes as long as you don't charge the $7 GP fee  :victory:
