Hi All
I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. To start off thanks to everyone who has contributed to this forum. I only recently started fishing again after a long long break and the shared information on here is fantastic.
A mate purchased a boat about a year ago that is kept at the top end of western port so most of my recent experience is in that area. As the boat is having some work done on it I thought I’d try some land based to keep me going. Tried for salmon at Gunnamatta as I use to live down that way and surfed the beach when younger. Didn’t catch anything but had an absolute ball and what a great way to fish. I live in the inner west now and have also tried catching bream from the waters in the area with reasonable success.
I’m becoming mildly obsessed now and never released how much gear I needed until I walked in to the local tackle stores and saw all those nice shiny things.
Anyway thanks again everyone and once I become a little more competent hope to put some posts up myself.
