Damn, it's not often you get deals on Weber. If you're willing to wait a few weeks, we run demonstrations nov-dec at our specialty dealerships and they often throw a freebie in or two. If I remember I'll post to let people know when and where they will be.

I got a special handline for tuna tube its even got a knob to wind it

considered it, but ticket price of $18 plus parking $15 means unless i was spending a bit its pricey already lol. I've been before and it wasn't to bad for a day out

Just got back...there was some good specials

I didnt need anything but I bought 10 xraps for gts , tuna ect...

5 cod lures....Marine lead light for the boat....a whiting road, a trout rod for the down rigger, a handline for tuna tube and then right at the end I got sucked in by the spice man and got his deal for twenty bucks.

was a good day

Thanks for the handline mate! Now I have 2!!! What size line does it have cause the one Nude Up got me has 20lb line and a knob I call Mick.

PS. What is a Whiting Road?

now tuna you no were not even going to start talking abt rods until you master the handline .....nude up still hasnt recovered from last trip when you were allowed a 5 min trial period with his gummy rod

I got....

100m fluro leader for 5
3x 100m of braid for 20
4 metal slices 35-50g for 10
3 squid jigs for 10 (and they were the best cheapies I had ever seen, brand yoshikawa)
got a berkley soft plastics wallet type thing for 10 (like a cd wallet but with snap lock bags)

and my favourite item
35 bucks for a tackle bag (one with 4 huge plastic containers inside)

Tuna tube will be stepping up to an alvey next trip he has undergone an intensive training course on overheads and got a cert 4 in overheads with a levelwind when he completes the diploma course he can step up to the tiagra in march. So good luck tuna tube and keep up the hard work and keep your eyes on the prize.

Parked at flemington shops and trammed it and had a great time! Picked up a some bargains and a few bits and pieces. Was great to meet Tony from tony's tackle and mick from hookem. Have already got things ordered from both guys! I havent been in at least 5yrs(used to go yearly as a kid) and its gotten better than when I was there last IMO.
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..
