Hi all.
New member to the page.
Bit of my fishing background.
Made keen fisherman from a young age, mainly fishing in Port Phillip bay with Dad.
Mid to late teenage years (mid to late 80's) I got hooked on game fishing, with many trips out of Eden & Bermagui.
Moved to far north Qld in early 90's and did a lot of Barra and reef fishing out of Innisfail and Tully.
Sadly had to sell my boat in 2002 as we moved to Alice Springs for work, it has been a few lean years with only the occasional trip to Qld and fish with Dad.
My wife and I have just recently purchased a holiday house (that we will eventually relocate permanently too) at a place called Donovans Landing (SA part of Glenelg river)

We visited last week for a couple of days and a boat came up for sale locally, so I purchased that :-)

So I will be fishing the Glenelg river from Nelson to as far upstream as my boat will get me.

I will be asking plenty of questions as to what I can hope to catch in the area.

Take care all.
David.
