G'day from Central Victoria
Hi, I've lived in Central Vic for almost 9 years now and have started getting out fishing a lot more in the last year. We've moved around a bit from Echuca to Port Macquarie and then back to victoria where we lived in Moe-Newborough before moving here to Maryborough. I grew up close to the Murray and Goulbourn river and learnt to fish in channels for carp and reddies as a kid, as I got older I become more interested in cod and yellow belly. I moved to Sydney for a few years in my early teens and got into a bit of salt water fishing and loved it. Living in Port Macquarie got me hooked on saltwater fishing and after moving back to Victoria I had lost interest in chasing freshwater fish for many years. I got a hobie outback a few years ago but found myself always wanting to travel down to the bay to use it as I was always too worried about the fins getting caught up in the small waters of the Loddon river and ended up selling the yak last year to help fund a renegade 440 in October and have got stuck into local fishing and everywhere else I can.
I've been down to portland, onto the bay a few times, up to Mildura and Mulwala has been a "go to" spot on many occassions since getting the boat.
I look forward to reading more on here and sharing reports on how the fishing is going in Victoria.
Cheers
Danny

G'day and welcome Danny, good luck with your fishing exploits, :victory: cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
