That is a legit steal

My old man wants 6k for a 3.8m with a 15 mercury, which is a reasonable buy as it is.

If that's legit, the guy has rocks in his head. Easy 15k+ boat.

Never got a response unfortunately.

I had a look at some boats up in QLD and went out on a boat. Seems like the market is much bigger in QLD and the boats are a bit cheaper. I went out on a Stessl 485 Apache side console which has shown me that I definitely want something in that size. It felt huge compared to the other boats I've been on. I think the full transom and lack of a rear casting deck are also things I want. The Stessl also has the console a bit more forward than other boats which meant more room for bait fishing out the back.

If you are looking at that size make sure it is over the minimum size for the PFD requirements.

The law states 4.8mt amd below must wear life jacket
