Gday all,
Been seriously into freshwater fishing for the best part of 15 years. I mainly fly fish now days but have lure and bait fished in the past! I'm living in Bacchus Marsh. Reason I have joined is to pass on knowledge of my experience in freshwater fishing. But I'm also really keen to learn Saltwater Fishing.
I will be land based. I'm wanting to learn how to successfully target Snapper, Gummies, Shark Species and Salmon. From the information ov read, Salmon would probably be the easiest to target by casting metal slugs this time of year.
Look forward to picking up information from all forum members in regards to what set ups I need, what rigs I should run and rough locations. Not wanting specific spots, would never ask that, but a general location to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Putting the hard yards to finding the fish is half the challenge and a challenge I enjoy!

Welcome to the forum, cheers davo :a_goodjob:
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
