As of today, I am 33 years young! Married with no kids ... yet... I have a cat though :-D also own 2x hand paddle kayaks.
Asian Australian, migrated to Australia in 2003 and straight away in love with this country!

Where I was, there was no rules or regulations about fishing, or not restrictive enough. Corals hammered, fish habitats destroyed. Can't blame the people 100% since often they do fishing for living and feed their families.

I got amazed when I found out how Fisheries here really actively protecting, preserving and promoting rec fishing. :water:
Since then, my soccer hobby started shifting to fishing

The thing I love about soccer and fishing (or any hobbies), that they bring people together regardless who we are, where we're from, or what language we speak.

Recently my workplace participated in a soccer corporate games, and it was the most diverse competition I ever seen. From multi gen Aussies to people from Scandinavian countries, Mediterranean, South East Asia, Africa. There I made my first Eritrean friend. There was even a conversation about souvlaki vs kebab between the Turkish and the Greeks :super:

So does fishing. It brings the best of people, and therapeutic too...
It's so nice to know similarly minded people in this forum. Love reading Bugatti's posts and how Smile and Lightning and the others help the newbies, etc.

I'm getting a bit mellow now, I think I need to go fishing.
Good one mate. Yep, fishing speaks every language. Fish and Pizza lover myself. Only fish for what I like eating. Happy birthday too by the way.
