Overdue introduction
Hi All,
After visiting this site regularly for a while I think its time for me to contribute a bit. I"m based down in East Gippsland on the Gippsland Lakes, mainly chaseing bream locally and occasionally heading offshore through Lakes Entrance. Fished most of my life however only recently started taking it a bit more serious. Anyone planning to come down here is welcome to message me about current conditions ect. I"m just waiting for a good catch and I will do my first report.
Cheers,
Bit Risky

Re: Overdue introduction
Welcome!
My mate caught some big duskys and bream @ tyers in the pirtek recently. I haven't had a good session there in years so I was a little surprised.
Have you fished there recently?

Re: Overdue introduction
Cheers Mate,
Theres been some quite good bream around the jetties however theres also been plenty of little ones, bait selection seems to be important in avoiding these little bream. I will be fishing closer to Metung and Lakes next week so hopefully I will have something to report.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum, enjoy your fishing exploits, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Overdue introduction
I have had 17 good size flatties in 18 mtrs a mile from the entrance and 15 salmon close to the entrance ,this week.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
