I think all the rain have put them off. I haven't caught any in a few weeks cause the water is dirty wherever I go. So I'm guessing they can't see the plastic or something similar. Not sure tbh.

A quick read of the forum you just posted in would suggest that Gunnamatta is probably a good place to start. There have been half a dozen reports of good fish in the last fortniight.

I can't actually think of the last report I saw about salmon in the north half of the bay. Try the beach at Balcombe or the Mt Martha Rocks. Didn't mean to be a **** it just happens naturally sometimes.

I haven't read many if any salmon in the top northern half of the bay ? strange for this time of year, you may need to go where they are either Gunnamatta or Barwon river if you want them that bad.

haha thats cool dougie you may have just missed what i said. yeah i did read your reports on that creek, normally this time of year the bay is flowing with them when the wind dies off i trawl in close when i take the boat out and normally you can't fail. Did this 3 weeks ago and got absolutely nothing, if you look at some of my reports from this time last year we were getting 40 salmon in less than an hour trawling it was crazy, you could also go down to lagoon or kerford rd even brighton and nail a few salmon on lures but of late there seems to be nothing….

They have been caught at blairgowie. Either rye pier or the small one at safety beach.
