saturday arvo at the gunn.
Hit up the back yard again yesterday arvo in company with Raco, Raul and Adtrac. Took us a little while, but we worked the whole beach until we found them, 10 or so minutes of madness ensued, with much laughter and 5hit hanging going on.. (watching Raco run down the wash table to recover his fish brought back fond memories of Fc for Adtrac and myself), we all ended up with a few, running from about 800grams up to around 1.4kg..good laugh with good blokes.

More good work Carl  cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Typically solid effort. I bit up the morning with a bit of a NW blowing. Struggled for a few hours but eventually found where they were hiding and managed three, again between 750/1.5kg.

Was heaps of fun especially after receiving a text from FC asking how I like my donuts with my coffee, as soon as it came through the salmon fired up. Some good sizes fighting really hard in the surf

good work lads. Just remember, the "sand dance" was my original. It's patented and copyrighted. I was stuffed and too tired to drive far yesterday.
Raulfc7 sent me a photo of his fish so I sent him photos of my live update cala hunt....got 8 cala and 1 x 43 cm pinky. Will soak the cala tonight hoping they will turn pink on this rough weather.

Fished on into the night with the big rods out. Landed 3 big skates another salmon at 54cm(so close to a pb) which took a squid strip on snelled 6/0s, a draughboard shark and a little gummy, which I thought was just a bigger salmon was well undersized, that wrapped itself quite badly, cut the line and got him back in as fast as I could swam him for a bit and he seemed to swim off ok. A few pics attached, didnt get one of the little gummy was trying to just get him untangled and back in as fast as I could.
All in all a bit of fun.
