Bag limit - well done!adtrac wrote:Hey Guys,
After yesterdays great session decided to head back to gunners again this afternoon and wasn't disappointed.
Met up with Carl and Basti also turned up and we all got amongst them with the bite lasting a good hour at least.
Great fun and great company made for a great afternoon.

Metal slugs, far more efficient than bait fishing for about 95% of the time.lauxyboy wrote:Gday lads, are you guys using baits or spinners, good to see the surf over your side is producing have put in 20+ hours in the surf from pt lonnie all the way to lorne main beach and everywhere in between and have caught bupkiss, pretty frustrating but hey thats fishing

Re: Gunners Mayhem part 2.
Great effort again lads.
Was at gunners at 6:30am. Left the bait gear at home and chucks slugs around for a few hours. Tide was bottoming out when I was there so didn't have any great results although did catch one thumper that was fun. Did a couple of laps of the beach. After years of sitting on my backside with a bait rod, it is actually quite a small beach when you tackle on foot.
Was a really enjoyable day and will be doing it more in future.
Thanks to Carl and crew for all of the great tips and advise in previous posts.
