Salmon

Post by Pelican » Thu Nov 06, 2014 9:05 am

Had a quick spin off the rocks at point road night on Melbourne cup day got 3 salmon in a hour the first being my pb salmon at about 50cm and well over 1.5kg was a very fat fish, the other two were a decent size too and put up a good fight off the rocks. The halco twisty 40g did the damage.

Yeah tide and swell play a part there, trust me I'm the idiot that put my rod down and lost it over the edge by a wave. Like all rock fishing can be safe but you still need to keep your wits about you.
