High roding will likely cause a rod break, the unsanded Snyder Glas rods that were purely fibreglass construction, were the strongest in my opinion. But also they are heavy in weight & the actions suit bait fishing the majority of the time.

I've been fishing all my life and have never had a rod break like this, and no i wasn't high sticking them, just a poor rod the third replacement has seemed to hold up fine but i wouldn't go out of my way to buy another one its a 10-15kg 3 piece travel it shouldn't break like it did, I've had two different mates with me on both occasions and they were both baffled with how the hell they broke. i've started to buy the nano's and the terez's now they seem just fine
