I have recently acquired a set of bream lures, and I am looking to replace the trebles with singles. I have no clue how to do this, would you have any idea? And also could I use a set of bait fishing singles instead of the specialised replacement hooks?
I have also been looking at some blades for bream- how would I work these lures?

a) Sorry to hear that. :rofl: :rofl:

b) As mentioned, pair of split ring pliers. - if they are proper bream lures then you will need micro split ring pliers, the normal ones are too big for the small split rings used on bream sized lures. or just use your fingernails and unhook them

c) Yes, but you'll need to install an extra split ring. Reason being, the eyelet on normal.bait hooks are at 90degrees to the gape of the hook, whereas inline singles, as the name suggests, are in the same line as the gape. The extra split ring turns your normal bait hook 90 degrees, then becoming inline with your lure.

d) No idea, ask Purple, he's from the dark side of fishing.
do a search for an article from sloth on here everything you need to know about bream fishing is in there. but in a nutshell work it like a plastic, cast let it sink and do small gentle hops. fish will either be on when you lift after the pause or you will feel them hitting the lure
