Massive Salmon in the bay

Post by mazman » Tue Oct 01, 2019 6:13 pm

Hey guys,

Just uploaded my latest video, went out chasing some squid and packed some gear for salmon after a recent report from purple5ive. Glad I did, got onto a hot bite for a while with some genuine monsters in the mix.

Hope you enjoy watching,

Good stuff man, those fish certainly test the bream gear..
the line twist is unfortunately something that comes with pushing the limits of lighter stuff..
Good to see you used the sidescan to full advantage..that has been the key to finding them..

Think fishing light for any fish improves the skill of an angler when I was a teenager my mate and I used to fish for big carp using trout rods in heavy snags with running water. We lost our fair share of fish and tackle but also landed plenty of big carp and improved our skills in fighting fish.

Nice video Mazman

Thanks guys, was good fun getting into them.

I'll be impressed if anyone can guess how long it took to land the big one (except steve because I've already told him)
